For IGU applications, the reeded pattern must be positioned on Surface 1 or Surface 4. Custom laminated constructions require a minimum 1.52mm interlayer to accommodate variation in the textured surface. Refer to the Narrow Reeded Glass Disclaimer before specification and installation.
Use a quality mirror edge sealer in bathrooms and other high-moisture applications. Ensure adequate ventilation, prevent standing moisture or cleaning liquids from pooling at edges, and follow recommended mirror installation and glazing practices to reduce edge deterioration.
