Performance
Glass

Low-E and acoustic glass engineered for thermal comfort, energy efficiency, safety and noise control in residential and commercial glazing.

Performance Built
Into the Glass

Reduced Solar Heat Gain

KeneticPlus Low-E coatings help control solar heat gain in summer while retaining interior warmth during cooler months.

Improved Energy Efficiency

Low-E performance helps reduce heat transfer and create more comfortable, energy-efficient buildings.

High Natural Light

KeneticPlus Monolithic maintains excellent natural light transmission while improving thermal performance.

Laminated Safety

KeneticPlus Laminate and TG Sound use laminated constructions that help retain broken glass for improved safety.

Acoustic Control

TG Sound uses a specialised acoustic interlayer to reduce noise from traffic, aircraft and other urban environments.

Up to 99% UV Protection

The laminated products block up to 99% of UV radiation, helping protect interior furnishings from fading.

Low-E Glass for Better Thermal Comfort

KeneticPlus Laminate and KeneticPlus Monolithic feature durable Low-E coatings that improve thermal performance by helping reduce solar heat gain while retaining warmth during cooler months.

The coated surface is designed to be glazed to the interior of the building to protect it from damage and support long-term performance. Always follow the Tough Glass Cleaning Guide when handling and maintaining coated glass.

Acoustic Performance with TG Sound

TG Sound uses a specialised acoustic interlayer to reduce the transmission of unwanted noise without compromising natural light or appearance. It is suited to projects affected by traffic, aircraft and other urban noise.

Acoustic performance depends on the complete glass construction, including glass thickness, interlayer configuration and the framing system. TG Sound can also be incorporated into ToughEco insulated glass units when both acoustic and thermal performance are required.

Product Considerations

The Low-E coating must be glazed to the interior of the building to protect the coated surface. Follow the Tough Glass Cleaning Guide when handling and maintaining coated glass. Performance data is available on request. Maximum sizes depend on glass type and stock sheet availability.

The permanent Low-E coating must be glazed to the interior of the building. Follow the Tough Glass Cleaning Guide for coated glass. Performance data is available on request or through the downloadable datasheets. Maximum sizes depend on glass type and stock sheet availability.

Acoustic performance depends on glass thickness, interlayer configuration and the framing system. All cutting, drilling, shaping and edgework must be completed before lamination. Performance data is available to assist with selecting the most suitable configuration.
